          Job Description:

          Repairs and maintains plumbing piping systems to include domestic water distribution piping and pumps, reheat water piping and pumps, medical gas, vacuum, compressed air, fire suppression system, and waste disposal systems. Must be capable of assisting with other engineering trades such as mechanical and electrical technicians.

          All employees are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Palmetto Health's values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity and teamwork.

          Requirements:

          Education: High School Graduate

          Experience: 3-5 Years

          Number and Type of Employees Supervised: No Supervision Required

          Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: City or Municipal Certified or Master Plumber. Prefer certification in medical gas brazing and backflow valves. Valid SC driver’s license with a proven (MVR report) good driving record for previous 3 years. Must pass driver training within 6 months of hire

          Special Training: Complete 4 Year Plumbing Apprenticeship Program
