POSITION: Statistical and Research Analyst III
DEPARTMENT: Resource Development/Institutional Support
HOUR: Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. � 5:00 p.m.; Friday 8:00 a.m. � 1:30 p.m.
LOCATION: Airport Campus
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Statistical and Research Analyst III in the Resource Development/Grants Office researches, analyzes, publishes and manages data sets and programs that communicate economic and education trends used in competitive grant applications; utilizes data analysis and resources in preparation of grant components including statement of needs, program design, evaluation, project management, budget and outcome measures; manages funding opportunities databases, activities and reports; develops and maintains a research library and digital data profiles on the college, community and economy; and serves as a college liason.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree and one (1) year professional work experience involving the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of economic development data. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred qualifications: Proficient in extracting and interpreting federal socio-economic statistics, creating multi-million dollar budgets, conducting primary data collection, strategic planning, database management, and excellent communication, editing and proofing skills.
HIRING RANGE: $31,182-$44,438, Band 05, SC State Classification System. Excellent benefits program that includes: employer provided health, dental, and life insurance; paid holidays; sick and annual leave; and state retirement.
